01 / Scope

Where this policy applies.

This policy applies to aljostudios.com and information ALJO Studios receives while answering an inquiry, preparing a quote, scheduling a session, processing a studio payment, delivering work, or supporting a client relationship.

When you leave this site for Acuity Scheduling, Stripe, a social platform, or another third-party service, that provider's privacy policy also applies to the information it receives directly.

02 / Information we collect

Information comes from you and normal site operation.

Information you provide

  • Contact information such as your name, email address, and phone number.
  • Project details, participants, preferred dates, deadlines, references, technical needs, and requested deliverables.
  • Booking and transaction details, including appointment type, scheduled time, payment status, and the amount paid.
  • Messages, approvals, revision notes, releases, and other information you choose to send.
  • Audio, video, images, documents, links, or other project materials you provide after an approved transfer path is established.
About the project brief

The inquiry form sends your completed project brief directly to ALJO Studios and stores it in the website's secured inquiry database for review and follow-up. The form accepts links and written details only; it does not accept media uploads.

Information from site operation

Website hosting, security, and network providers may process limited technical information such as IP address, browser and device type, requested page, referring page, timestamps, and diagnostic or security logs. ALJO Studios does not currently use third-party advertising pixels on this site.

We use information to run the studio relationship.

  • Respond to inquiries and recommend the correct service path.
  • Prepare quotes, contracts, production plans, schedules, and client communications.
  • Process bookings, payments, reminders, changes, and approved refunds.
  • Perform, deliver, support, recall, and document the services you request.
  • Protect clients, staff, equipment, accounts, the website, and studio operations.
  • Maintain business, accounting, tax, dispute, and legal records.
  • Improve service design and studio administration using aggregated or de-identified information when practical.

04 / How information is shared

We share information only for an operational or legal reason.

ALJO Studios may share relevant information with scheduling, payment, email, file-transfer, hosting, accounting, production, and technical service providers that help operate the business. We may also share information with approved crew, contractors, rental providers, or collaborators when they need it to perform the agreed project.

Information may be disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to valid legal process, prevent fraud or harm, enforce an agreement, or protect the rights, safety, and property of ALJO Studios, its clients, or others.

ALJO Studios does not sell personal information. We do not provide client contact information to third parties for their independent direct marketing.

05 / Cookies + third parties

06 / Retention + security

We keep information for a real business need.

ALJO Studios keeps personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide services, maintain required business and financial records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, protect the studio, and meet legal obligations. Different production files have separate delivery and archive windows under the applicable service terms or approved quote.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the information and the size of the business. No transmission or storage method is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

Please do not send secrets in the first inquiry.

Do not include passwords, stream keys, financial account credentials, government identification numbers, or full-resolution private media in the project brief. Secure access and transfer instructions follow scope approval when needed.

07 / Your choices

You can ask about your information.

You may ask ALJO Studios to correct contact information, stop nonessential marketing messages, or review or delete personal information we control. Some information may need to be retained for active services, accounting, fraud prevention, legal obligations, or the establishment or defense of claims.

Requests should be sent to info@aljostudios.com with the subject “Privacy request.” We may need to verify your identity and relationship to the project before acting on a request.
