ALJO Studios is Alvin Jones’s recording and production studio in Jamaica, Queens. Known as AlJo, Alvin brings his work as a musician, producer, and musical director into a studio built around preparation, performance, and the finished project.

The session

Engineer-led from the start.

Recording includes an engineer, microphone and signal-chain selection, Pro Tools operation, and normal routing and cue support. Before the session, we confirm the people, setup, time, and deliverables so everyone knows what the booking covers.

Rehearsal, multicamera production, and post-production each have their own scope. Creative work such as arrangement, music direction, production, and performance is agreed separately.
